Northwestern vs Illinois: Take It For What It Is

I've seen a lot on Twitter tonight about Ray Rice "willing Illinois into tournament contention".

First, I'm as big on Ray Ray as the next but stop this garbage.

Second, where was this " will" when he was doing something stupid that got him suspended from this team for three weeks and basically cost Illinois their season?

Finally, Northwestern is more of a work in progress than Illinois or anyone else in the Big Ten.
He was the best player on the floor in a game where Northwestern had no shot from the start.

It was a good night but that's all it was.

There's a difference between a game you SHOULD win and a game you HAVE to win.
Tonight was the former for Illinois.
